Pay Rate: $14-15/hr

  • This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the pharmacy. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, organizing and replenishing pharmacy products and supplies.
  • This position performs cycle counts and month end inventories and maintains accurate inventory records.
  • This role assists the Buyers and Shippers with various duties to ensure a well-organized and efficient operation.

Essential Functions:
  • Receive product and supply orders, rotate and stock product. Work with Buyers to minimize out of stock products and ensure efficient turnaround and fulfilment of product. Edit minimum/maximum numbers on products to ensure appropriate product mix.
  • Complete product inventories including month end, weekly cycle counts and obsolete and quarantine inventory. Perform recounts to ensure shelf quantities are accurate.
  • Review pricing to ensure costs are loaded into system correctly; troubleshoot issues with appropriate departments as required.
  • Manage expired products by pulling, adjusting inventory, logging and quarantining product in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records including purchase orders, invoices, adjustments and returns according to internal guidelines. Provide inventory reports and respond to requests for information related to product availability and order status.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to identify root cause and rectify instances where price terms do not match up.
  • Assist shipping department by organizing shipping materials and constructing shipping materials as needed.
  • Assist Buyer with purchasing of orders, including drop ship orders and other duties as required.


Schedule: 9:30am6pm for about 23 weeks of training and then will have to work 10:30am7:00pm permanently

Mail order division – receiving meds in the morning and putting the medication away and then late afternoon assisting and placing orders. Throughout the day – inventory recounts. If something is lost, that person will be searching to find it. Not a desk job – on your feet walking the entire day Busy 8 hour day. Also, will be assisting with patient returns or expired medicine.
