Local Program Team Project Manager Tasks:
  • Provide portfolio management for compounds in early development pipeline
  • Manage and facilitate cross functional new products team via development of relationships in a complex matrixed organization with the goal of ensuring the teams are prepared for management endorsement of team recommendations through the early phases of drug development
  • Develop relationships with the core and extended LPT members as well US Medical Affairs, Global and other functions within the client organization to ensure the team is abreast of the most recent information and is tracking to plan on deliverables.
  • On-board new LPT members, educate on roles and responsibilities and PSP including process and tools
  • For LPT meetings that occur at least weekly, the PM will schedule, develop agenda, manage meeting and develop meeting minutes. The PSP framework will be embedded in each meeting which will be driven by the PM.
  • Organize and help facilitate LPT workshops
  • Assist LPT co-leads with establishment of LPT annual objectives, record objectives and monitor progress, compile LPT self-assessment vs. objectives for year-end report
  • Manage and prepare transition of team from LPT to in-line commercial Medical and commercilteams
  • Transfer knowledge guide and prepare Launch Project Manager for Launch Management Team Kick-off

PSP (Pipeline Strategic Planning} Process -PSP is the framework used by LPTs to complete an assessment of a project at key development milestones. Project managers are expected to become expert in this process and to insure adherence to the principles and deliverables of this approach by the LPT. Project managers are also required to insure that newly hired PMs,or new LPT members are fully on-boarded with PSP.

Deliverables:
Project schedule, project plan documentation , project team communications (emails, meetings, meeting agendas, annual planning documentation, knowledge transfer guides, kick off content/documentation .

Project Planner/Coordi nator Tasks:
Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks on large scale or complex projects including, but not limited to,
  • Day-to-day Timeline Management
  • Updates to Project Sites
  • Follow-up with Sub-teams
  • Meeting I scheduling coordination and logistics
  • Assist with drafting of documents, presentation content, weekly, reports, documentation of process improvements, standards, templates, etc.



Deliverables: Project timelines, schedule meetings, documentation of meeting outcomes/action items/next steps, presentation documents, reports, documentation of standards, templates.

Account Management Tasks:
  • In addition to Launch Project Manager and Early Development Project Manager responsibilities:
    • Function as primary point of contact between client and Supplier to ensure client Team satisfaction and drive continuous improvement efforts
    • Lead and manage Supplier team resources to ensure project delivery, PMO contributions, and manage resource recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluation, development & succession within team
    • Scoping and pricing of new projects, including business requirements, resource needs, and resourcing approach
      o Forecasting resource demands based on project plan
    • Support training and on boarding for new Supplier resources
    • Work collaboratively with client Account Manager to agree to SOWs and PMO Resources
    • Account Manager obtains periodic guidance from client and dissem inates that guidance to Supplier Resources to ensure alignment with client projects.

Deliverables:
Program schedule (SOW's and resources), relationship management meetings, customer satisfaction survey results and summary , meeting agendas, annual planning and rolling forecast documentation, knowledge transfer process progress process improvement/efficiency successes and value, training schedule and progress.
