not an IT PM, Clinical PM experience in Pharma, Regulatory environment, Medical Tech operations Pharma consumer background in the regulatory framework must have good leadership qualities, interact with people, take charge, balance out a team, emotional intelligence, run meetings, etc.
3-5 years of experience, not looking for a senior PM must work onsite in Madison phone interview and then in person with 2-3 team members enough experience to step right now, little training
Accountable for delivering assigned Global and Regional projects for their assigned therapeutic categories (Pain, Respiratory, Dietary Supplements, Personal Care, GI, and/or Other) and projects across other categories where applicable.

Project/Program Management role executes project/program management processes for the development of new solutions and services. Major Role Responsibilities: • Defines project approach and gaining client, client engagement manager, and project team member buy-in; • Leads and directs one or more project teams; • Creates, reviews, evaluates project plans and objectives; • Tracks and reports progress relative to time, budget, and demonstrated results; • Negotiates with clients, colleagues and outside vendors; • Communicates project status, milestones and issues to the project sponsors; • Applies effective project management methodologies and control techniques; • Works independently and with Project Team members to ensure task-level plans are completed and executed on track; and • Manages project critical path and scope. Years of Experience 3-5.

Role Description

  • Accountable for delivering assigned Global and Regional projects for their assigned therapeutic categories (Pain, Respiratory, Dietary Supplements, Personal Care, GI, and/or Other) and projects across other categories where applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives & owns with limited guidance all issue resolution for their assigned projects with strong ownership and oversight to ensure delivery of their franchise projects.
  • May lead other department initiatives including, but not limited to Portfolio Project Management process refinement/development, new business technology solutions, or other department initiatives.
  • Serves as a role model and ensures that all assigned Projects and Teams leverage PCH tools, processes, cultures and behaviors.
  • Supports continuous improvements in Project Management (efficiencies and consistency). Implements best practices and facilitates lessons learned and new standards for the department.
  • Acts with limited guidance in managing several cross functional project teams and oversees the key deliverables and project milestones of their assigned project teams. Provides end of year performance feedback on team members.
  • Serves as the PM Leader for a complex portfolio of projects primarily from within assigned therapeutic area but with occasional project from other areas.
  • Anticipates project issues, business, technical, and regulatory and recommends project, process, or product improvements that address project issues or emerging risk.
  • Has strong knowledge in the Project Management profession and personally leads multiple global, complex projects that are critical to delivering innovation and growth to their assigned therapeutic area.
  • Manages the execution of the key functional deliverables within the project plan by leveraging core and extended project team members throughout each development stage through launch.
  • Ensures their assigned projects meet key deliverables within project scope, timing and budget and meets project success criteria. Ensures project scope change requests are elevated promptly via Change Requests.
  • Tracks projects and provides timely/relevant project status updates to project sponsors.
  • Drives resolution of project issues (e.g. potential delays) & risks for assigned projects by engaging the global/regional franchise team or project sponsors to drive resolution as needed
  • Proactively identifies any potential or actual delays and proposes prevention and mitigation plans
  • Accountable for project budget management and forecasting for assigned projects in assigned Therapeutic Areas

Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience):

  • 6-9 years experience (or equivalent) in end-to-end Project Management leading development initiatives in OTC, medical device, Rx or regulated consumer goods development projects.
  • NDA experience required; Rx-to-OTC switch experience highly preferred.
  • BS/BA in one of the following disciplines preferred: Science, engineering, business, or supply chain discipline
  • MBA or MS strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating cross-functional global teams in a matrixed environment required.
  • PMP professional certification highly desirable or requirement to attain within one year of assuming role.
