 Department of Finance (Finance) has been reengineering its business processes to better leverage its existing financial management systems. This effort has created the need for trained administrative financial professionals to perform a variety of financial management functions to aid in the transition to new business processes and practices. Therefore, the County would like to contract for administrative financial professionals with good PC applications skills and familiarity with financial management operations and systems to help it achieve its goals.        
Scope of Work: 
1)     Contractors will assist with payroll processing and reporting and/or cash management and general accounting reconciliations
2)     Contractors will be expected to exercise due diligence over the keying of sensitive financial records.
3)     Contractors will be expected to run pre-designed reports and monitor for exceptions against identified criteria.
4)     Contractors will be expected to organize and file electronic and paper records.
5)     Contract staff will work side-by-side with County staff to facilitate knowledge transfer.
6)     Contract staff will report directly to Lenny Moore.
Notes from hiring manager:
  • We are not looking for junior level candidates in overall experience but they can have junior level experience as a financial analyst. Must have at least 5+ years in overall experience
  • Steady work history is important
  • COMM skills are very important
  • Recent Relevant experience to the requirements are needed
  • Education is not very important but do prefer candidates with Bachelor's degrees. Nothing higher is needed
