Job Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Project Manager in Bethesda, MD.  The Project Manager will manage and mentor the technical staff to include technical leads, Service Desk Engineers and System Administrators. Integral in determining new technologies to offer our clients and assist in the creation of innovative solutions. Periodically analyze user requests to determine service efficiency and customer satisfaction while recommending appropriate changes in procedures and operations.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage all aspects of the project business plan and budget
Lead the operational, financial and technological aspects of projects based on timelines and work plans
Coordinate directly and indirectly with team to ensure successful completion of the project – directing, supervising, supporting and coordinating the project team members/staff
Track project deliverables using project management tools
Manage the design of the project documents to monitor project performance and data stored
Resolve, trace and escalate critical issues to minimize project risk factors
Communicate intensively with stakeholders and establish cordial/effective working relationships
Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to client and Program Management
 
Required Skills:
Experience working as a Help Desk Manager
Experience in a Service Desk Environment
Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills
Demonstrate knowledge and extensive experience with technical environment
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Customer Service focused and works well with all organization levels effectively
Adaptability to team or individual work efforts
PMP Preferred to have
Kanban experience preferred
Federal Experience preferred
