Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Responsible for tasks that include working with computers, pneumatic machines, hydraulic presses, high-powered laser systems, and motion-control assembly robots for an automated production line.
• Diagnose and resolve small mechanical issues (Minor mechanical replacement of parts such as belts, sensors, and robotic end of arm tooling)
• Ability to work and communicate well with engineers, management, and all other departments verbally and electronically.
• Must be self-motivated, well organized, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally, in written and electronic form to all levels of the organization; must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email tools
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and possess quick learning skills

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of formal training in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or robotic systems is required or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency performing tasks that require using Human Machine Interface (HMI) that control subsystems and PLC experience
• Proficient using and maintaining common hand tools and power tools as well as usage of inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers, and meters.
• Work schedule is subject to change (days, nights, weekend days, and weekend nights) with the occasional need to come in early or stay late.
