Paladin Consulting is currently hiring an Application Developer to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Dallas, TX.

Job Title: Application Developer
Work Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 3 month contract with option to hire

Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Create REST services using Web API and
  • Evaluate and identify best practices
  • Work in an Agile environment while participating in Scrum ceremonies
  • Implementing user stories, resolving bugs, giving status in daily standup calls
  • Participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Software testing and quality assurance
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality
  • Participate in weekly code reviews where you will evaluate code and share your ideas.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Must be willing to stay current with new and emerging technologies.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • A high level of competency in .NET and C# development
  • Extensive experience building enterprise-level web applications in ASP.NET MVC and Web API
  • Extensive experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery and Angular
  • Strong understanding of IIS as a web platform as well as configuration options
  • An understanding of deployment processes and tools such as MSBuild, Grunt, Gulp or similar
  • Extensive experience using TFS as a source control repository and mechanism for implementing Agile processes such as user stories and bugs.
  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
  • Professional communication skills
