Job Description:

The Enterprise Disaster Recovery Systems Integration Analyst has responsibility for understanding and contributing to the strategic Enterprise Disaster Recovery technology roadmap, with particular attention to enterprise-scale applications and infrastructure solutions. The EDRSIA will be responsible for understanding key recovery technologies and operational drivers regarding required availability, growth, performance, usability, and its impact to the Enterprise Disaster Recovery objectives. The EDRSIA will be capable of working across functional lines and technology stacks, to support the achievement of technical and business objectives in alignment with the Enterprise Technology direction for production availability and disaster recovery objectives. The EDRSIA will be expected to learn the current *as-is* environment for data, infrastructure, security, application interdependencies, and technical recovery processes & procedures. The EDRSIA will work closely with various internal functional groups to participate in documenting and defining technical needs and issues. The EDRSIA will work directly with the EDR Systems Integration Lead and EDR team to assess all system and application needs and issues, and support and guide remediation and governance of all EITS activities and platforms to ensure business continuity will be maintained within defined business RTO/RPOs.

  • Works under general supervision to investigate, analyze, and resolve ad-hoc queries and issues relating to Disaster Recovery System recovery and integration activities.
  • Document, support, and help drive system integration solutions, migrations, and remediation activities across functional lines.
  • Reviews technical documentation and provides technical commentary, as needed, to approve/reject Solution Engineering artifacts and proposals based on EDR standards and best practices.
  • Establish and monitor key initiatives, communicate essential information, coordinate associated activities, obtain expert input, review open issues and action items for ongoing projects and contribute information and recommendations during meetings and briefings.
  • Understands and supports the current "as-is” EDR environment, and the roadmap to the future architecture, including interoperability with existing application migration strategies, infrastructure decisions, and rollout strategies.
  • Provides project management support for ongoing ITDR architectural projects and remediation activities.
  • Support and understand rapidly changing technologies as part of integrated solutions to business requirements within Disaster Recovery environment.
  • Works with the EDR test and EITS team(s) to prepare the EDR recovery environment's via independent resolution activities and escalates as needed.
  • Assists and participates in EDR readiness activities and tests, and documents and escalates technical issues and concerns.
  • Maintains and prepares documentation and artifacts required for IT governance and other EDR systems integration presentations as assigned.
  • Able to work with multiple groups across multiple technology and business areas to support EDR systems integration activities.
  • Broad understanding of Disaster Recovery concepts, terminology, and Disaster Recovery program strategy.
Travel: 10 - 50%¿

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience as a progressive technology analyst for applications and systems infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Disaster Recovery field.
  • Experience working for a large Healthcare organization or a large infrastructure with multiple Datacenter's and system types and tiered recovery strategies.
  • Knowledge of AIX, SOLARIS, MICROSOFT, MAINFRAME, and AS400 technologies including db2, SQL, Oracle, MariaDB, (IIS), file systems, LDAP, AD, Network, MQ, VMWare, Citrix, Exchange, and replication and recovery technologies.
