Job Title: Sr. Sales Support
Work Location: Southlake, TX
Duration: 6 month contract with option to extend or hire

Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Provides primary support to Americas and Global Accounts Sales Operations team in executing the daily, weekly and monthly processes required to direct, manage, optimize, and monitor agency sales.
  • Tracks and reports on sales performance against targets. Performs standard analysis using sales reports and basic ad hoc analysis.  Summarizes insight on sales pipeline, sales performance, etc. and makes operational recommendations based upon these insights to executive/senior leadership for agency sales.
  • Collaborates in developing/enhancing global process, reports, and sales programs that facilitate efficient sales operations, effective sales execution, and improved management insight. Assists in the harvesting of successful local improvements for packaging and re-use across the world.
  • Coordinates and project manages standardized sales management processes across global agency sales
  • Coordinates, project manages, and/or executes short-term initiatives in support of sales goals, sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and global consistency.
  • Prepares and/or consolidates sales management presentations, status reports, communications, etc. to communicate financial, sales, and operational performance to Travel Network executive leadership, sales leadership, the sales organization, and others. 
  • Defines and evolves standard templates for collecting sales updates and communicating them to executive leadership.
  • Contributes to defining business requirements for new sales systems/tools and enhancements to existing systems/tools. Participates in testing and rollout of new systems/tools and enhancements.  Acts as a subject matter expert for the sales leadership and sales operations leadership in the use of sales systems/tools.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years relevant professional experience in sales operations, sales support, and/or sales in a business-to-business sales organization. Experience preferred in the travel/GDS industry, a SaaS vendor, or the software industry.
  • 3 years of experience in performing regional sales operations processes.  Global experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with best practices for sales operations process and sales effectiveness metrics.
  • Ability to quickly and consistently execute standardized processes and enable others to do so as well. Demonstrated ability to ensure process compliance and recommend improvements to standardized processes.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Proficiency in using IBM Cognos, SAP Fiori, or other BI tools is preferred.
  • Advanced organizational and project management abilities. Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including summarizing information for executive consumption. 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, including both regional and global teams. Ability to forge solid internal and external customer relationships.
  • Self-directed with a start-up mentality.  Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable. Comfortable in a rapidly evolving environment, and skilled in change management.
  • Solid commercial acumen. Displays the highest ethical standards and impeccable character.
