Job Title: Data Analyst
Work Location: Addison, TX
Length of Position: Contract to hire
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts between 7am-7pm


POSITION PURPOSE:
To maximize revenues by ensuring hotel rates and data are accurately reflected in all applicable distribution channels including but not limited to the: Central Reservation System (CRS), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and brand.com. Information must be maintained in a timely and accurate manner in coordination with the hotel and applicable corporate support teams in these systems.
 
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 1+ year experience working in a Corporate Environment - Preferred
  • Data Analysis and Data Entry experience
  • Excel 2010
  • Experience running reports, importing, exporting, printing, etc.
  • Ensure all statistical reports are accurate.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Critical thinking
  • Quick learner
  • Self-starter, self-motivator - works well independently
  • Good communication skills
  • High volume of data entry with great accuracy
  • Technical Aptitude
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry desired
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • 35% - Load and quality check rates and hotel information in various distribution channels through applicable systems
  • 25% - Provide hotel support by answering procedural or system questions related to the applicable distribution channels.
  • 15% - Contact hotels regarding responses to rate and data solicitations and resolve outstanding issues.
  • 15% - Other projects related to updating hotel rates and information into the various distribution channels as required by the hotels and/or corporate directive.
  • 10% - To validate workload benchmarks, track all tasks that are processed to include start and end times as documented by automated systems.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma and any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. College Degree highly preferred.

GROOMING:
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 20 lbs. may be required. The lodging business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
