Oracle Practice Director

 This role requires a person who can grow the Oracle Practice and sell capabilities in Transformation Projects as well as Application Support to a broad set of Fortune 500 companies by leveraging Oracle platforms and solutions.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Armed with a strong business acumen and experience in solution selling, the Oracle Sales professional will require:
  • Drive new Business for the Oracle practice for a given portfolio of accounts in the US and ensure Revenue growth.
  • Ensure proactive pipeline building   
  • Work with the practice in identifying solution whitespaces that we can capture and take a leadership position in the market.
  • Leverage new product directions and integrated offerings from our portfolio of Oracle to create differentiated offerings in the marketplace.
  • Position and articulate the Oracle Practice Services and solution offerings to C-Level stakeholders 
  • Help create Business Development Plans for allocated industry / accounts and help identify prospective clients. 
  • Work with the Practice, Presales and Demand Generation teams to create plans for the prospects / clients and help them in their journey to use the Oracle portfolio of products and solutions.
Skills & Experience:
  • Ideally has minimum of 10+ years of relevant business experience gained within a large Consulting or SI working in similar positions 
  • Must possess deep experience in selling the Oracle suite of products in a SI and be considered as a subject matter expert and thought leader in the industry
  • Deep Connections within Oracle ecosystem across Alliances, Product Development, and Sales Teams
  • Should have obtained a Bachelor's Degree, ideally as well as a Master Level Degree
  • Executive presence: ability to engage clients at various levels (including C-Level) to build strong and long lasting relationships
  • Client orientated focus as well as possess a strong commercial and business acumen
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills; with the ability to structure and facilitate workshops and develop business cases for large deals
  • Significant Large deals experience; which includes winning and transitioning the deal to delivery. 
  • Outstanding communication (written and oral), collaboration, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Offshoring or near-shoring experience is desired.
