Cloud Architect/Engineer

  • 10-15 years overall experience in professional software engineering. Working experience as a consultant across several domains/firms with an exposure to different technology platforms and architecture models is a huge plus
  • 5+ years in the architect and/or lead engineer role managing, building and delivering business solutions (e.g. in Banking, Capital Markets, Finance, Insurance)
  • Strong communication skills and able to successfully articulate technology concepts to both business and technology audience
  • Expert understanding in Java/J2EE/.NET, SOA, ESB, Messaging, BPM, BRMS, Event Processing technologies
  • Implementation and Development experience in Integration technologies and architectures (for e.g., Service Orchestration, Service Choreography, Event Driven Architecture, Messaging middleware, etc.)
  • Experience in defining microservices (service decomposition, choreography design, state persistence, interaction model, etc.) taking into account business, legal and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to quickly understand business requirements and propose reference architectures and technology blueprints.  Able to present options and weigh implementation complexities and risks to make the right technical decision
  • Experience in reviewing technical decisions and articulate pros/cons of technology options based on personal experience, industry knowledge, and best practice
  • Experience in the design of cloud native applications
  • Strongly desired experience in retail banking and wealth management
  •         Strong experience in pivotal cloud foundry application development technologies
  •         Expert in pivotal CLI interface, creating or modifying manifest files, bootstrap files,
  •         Experience in spring-cloud and spring-boot frameworks
  •         Experience in binding and managing pivotal backing services ( Config servers, Eureka, MongoDB, git repositories)
  •         Strong debugging experience
  •         Good to have appDynamics, Splunk or ELK experience.
  •         Job involves day to day managing PCF orgs, spaces, services and debugging aligned with 12-factor principles and microservices architecture style.
  •         Hands on development with Spring Tool Suite, Tomcat, Spring-boot and spring-cloud.
  •         Hands on development with PCF backing services – Config, Eureka, MongoDB.
  •         Deploying and testing PCF components in development spaces and debugging and fixing issues
  •         Participating in architecture meetings and providing expert advice on architecture principles and patterns on pivotal cloud foundry.
