Project Description : Our client is the nation's leading and largest provider of private label credit programs for non-prime consumers. The company originates private label credit cards through point-of-sale partnerships with retailers and health care providers. In addition, they have a fast-growing direct-to-consumer business, originating non-prime MasterCard accounts. Both products provide underserved consumers access to the financing they need to pursue their life goals.
Job Description : The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining new and advanced technologies, providing expert-level support services and must have a deep and broad knowledge of Windows Server OS, computer software, hardware and networks. The successful candidate will play a key role with design and architecture, implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure, both on premise and in the cloud.

As a Sr. Systems Engineer you will:
• Administer Windows Servers in Azure infrastructure.
• Evaluate future technologies and make recommendations for software and hardware upgrades.
• Maintain cloud servers such as security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct server builds/ the ability to configure VMs.
• Configure new and existing Azure Services.
• Administer Microsoft/Office 365 suite, including Exchange.
• Configure, optimize, fine-tune and monitor operating system software and servers.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes.
• Assist with periodic audits, testing, and remediation in accordance with IT, PCI and SSAE/SOC1 Audit policies.

• Proven experience as a Senior Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer or similar role at an enterprise level.
• Expert knowledge with Microsoft Active Directory
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of VMware or similar technologies a plus
• Working knowledge of networking.
• Basic knowledge of supporting SQL databases.
• Experience supporting mission critical systems 24x7x365.
• Experience with business continuity / disaster recovery failover / failback and run-book documentation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• You are a motivated self-starter and fast learner with the ability to work independently, but more importantly, are able to use the company resources efficiently, effectively and collaboratively to achieve best results in available time. Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Preferred Requirement:
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies.
• Working knowledge of performance monitoring and management tools such as Orion APM/NPM.
• Working knowledge of Agile project management.
• Industry certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps, etc.).
