Practice Manager, IMA Energy & Utilities

Responsibilities

· Collaborate closely with the Global teams to develop proposals, presentations, statement of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies to grow Analytics & Information Management presence in existing accounts
· Work with Account/Sales teams to manage the pre-sales process with clients and provide the leadership throughout the sales-cycle from initial qualification to closure of the deal
· Play an advisory role to customers and prospects and provide thought leadership & IT/ Business transformation recommendations in various technology areas.

· Work with India/Global based practice teams on RFPs/Events/Go-to-Market (GTM) on solutions
· Own account plans and targets for named accounts in the BFSI vertical for US region, including forecasting revenue and order book, maintaining and growing pipeline funnel
· Provide technical & architecture guidance, for various technology areas in the Analytics & Information Management spectrum.
· Work with the identified key alliance partners and software vendors to jointly develop and own GTM plans
Managing work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive position

Qualifications


· Ideal candidate will have an overall 10 – 12 years of work experience with at least 5 years in Management/ Technical Consulting in the area of Analytics and Information Management Technologies.
· Sales Experience: 5+ Years

· Experience in the Banking/Financial/Energy and Utilities industry will be a clear advantage
· Prior experience in a highly collaborative and matrix'ed environment or any experience with a Global Delivery Model based IT Services Company will be an added advantage.
· Prior experience in one of more of the following areas will be an added advantage:

· Excellent Communication, Customer Interaction and Presentation Skills are mandatory
Should be comfortable interacting with Sr. IT and Business Leadership levels (COO/ CIO Levels) within the Customer space
Education Master of Science (preferably in Computer and Information Sciences or Business Information Technology) or an Engineering degree in the above areas.
Travel 70% – 80% Travel – All domestic (US & Canada) with occasional international travel
