Role: Business System Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: Long Term Rate: $60/hr on C2C GC/Citizens only Description Recognized as an expert and visionary in providing strategic business solutions to enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of the most complex, strategic, corporate-wide business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Applies knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change and position Wells Fargo for the future. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Participates in transforming strategic enterprise architecture and design principles into specific system requirements and specifications. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as the highest-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering technical processes for greater efficiencies with significant impact to the business. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff. 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design. Qualifications The candidate should be a Senior Business Systems Analyst professional with a comprehensive background in back-office securities processing and should have product knowledge with various Capital Markets experience within Fixed income, Equities, MBS, Repo/Rev Repos, Securities Lending, Market Risk, Compliance and Global Securities Settlement Processing. Have a strong business and technical expertise leading large development initiatives with knowledge of various technology platforms. Acts as a liaison between business users, operations users and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved. Have strong quality control skills and assist in testing across several applications to support enhancements or upgrades. Act as a project liaison/manager to track tasks and deliverables and conduct meetings with various business and technical teams with different organizational levels. Senior Analyst providing assistance in identifying, evaluating, and debugging major issues as needed and coordinating with business, operations, and technology teams as required. Have strong concepts and comprehensive experience in securities processing platforms for Fixed Income, Equities, Global settlements, prime Services as well as Risk, GL, and Compliance to understand the business process, data elements and technology platforms associated with supporting these processes. Proven Knowledge and exposure working with the financial data such as positions, transactions, accounts, balances, securities static data, pricing, ratings etc. Proven experience as strategic planner with clear product management and vendor relationship management experience supporting global securities processing solutions. Partner with other technology partners, enterprise architecture groups, process and change coordinators and business leaders to support overall securities processing strategies with an understanding of different technical platforms for file and data transfer protocols( SFTP, NDM, MQ, SQL, etc.) Prepares requirements for system changes working with the users of the system and assisting with writing technical specifications. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced BA /QA staff locally as well as offshore. Maintain system diagrams, system interface charts and any other supporting documentation that is required related to operations and mitigating risks across the platforms. Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively liaison with internal and external business and technical partners. Experience consulting at the highest technical level with IT management with planning, design, integration, and problem definition. Experience with testing and coordination of testing with various business and technology partners related to securities processing. Experience coordinating and managing tasks to a successful conclusion, including coordination with other teams whose efforts are critical to the overall success of the project or initiative. Experience in identifying and mitigating issues and risks and managing to resolution. Effective at handling competing priorities and multi-tasking while not losing focus of critical details Strong and proven analytical skills in problem solving This individual will be a key player in supporting Cash Securities Processing and Reporting. Assignments will include strategic initiatives and projects as well as tactical assignments. The candidate must have both technical and analytical skills.
