Job Description – Technical Business Analyst / Loan IQ Consultant
Experience – 15 - 30 Years
Location- Bangalore
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in Loan IQ, syndicated lending operations, and banking product accounting. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of Loan IQ workflows along with hands-on experience in implementations, migrations, accounting reconciliation, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Loan IQ initiatives.
• Work closely with business users, operations teams, finance, accounting, and technology stakeholders.
• Perform impact analysis and support solution design for Loan IQ implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Demonstrate functional understanding of Loan IQ product accounting, General Ledger (G/L), sub-ledger architecture, setup/configuration design, operational workflows, operational controls, and reconciliation processes.
• Validate accounting events, cashflows, accruals, fees, repayments, and downstream GL postings.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, conversion validation, and post-migration verification activities.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams during SIT, UAT, and production releases.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL/Python and support data validation activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve functional and production issues.
• Ensure compliance with banking operational and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Loan IQ implementations, enhancements, or migration projects.
• Functional expertise in syndicated lending and commercial lending operations.
• Good understanding of Loan IQ accounting modules and financial event processing.
• Knowledge of General Ledger (GL), sub-ledger reconciliation, and accounting workflows.
• Experience in operational controls and reconciliation processes.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Solid Python/Data Engineering background for reconciliation, reporting, or migration support.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with banking interfaces and downstream systems.
• Exposure to Flexcube or other core banking systems.
• Familiarity with Jira, Client ALM, and test management tools.
• Knowledge of SOFR/LIBOR transition processes.
• Experience working with global banking clients.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• 15+ years' experience in Loan IQ Business Analysis / Functional Consulting.
• Prior experience in investment banking, syndicated lending, or commercial banking domain preferred.
