Business Operation Analyst

Job purpose:
To assist in the day to day activities of a regional Bus Ops team to ensure end to end fulfilment of customer orders.
Principal responsibilities:
  • Manage finished goods inventory for allocated customer accounts balancing requirements of demand and supply.
  • Develop a close operational relationship with specific regional customers based on clear communications to fully understand requirements, expectations and their overall strategy.
  • Track programme development to ensure delivery on time to the customer and provide any required operational input to customer contract negotiations.
  • Build strong relationships in the full end to end supply chain with all necessary 3rd parties.
  • In alignment with the relevant key account management, manage and communicate customer demand within the bus. ops management group, understanding and explaining any variances to plan.
  • Oversee effective back office functions to ensure accurate and on time order management including order acknowledgement, pricing and invoicing.
  • Report component inventory levels for your region into Bus. Ops Management
  • Support weekly demand and commit process both within the business and with suppliers.
  • Review CTB and capacity as required to ensure fulfilment of customer orders
  • Ensure timely submission of all monthly reporting within the Bus Ops group.
  • Provide material exposure and scenario planning as required for regional customers.
  • Manage component last time buy process with EMS suppliers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
