Senior Mobile Business Analyst
Senior Mobile Business Analysts help lead the vision, strategy, specifications, execution, and implementation of our multi-platform mobile hand-held projects. They work directly with our vendors, business users, and systems teams to understand business goals and guide the analysis efforts. They help define new requirements, as well as how best to incorporate requirements into the mobile platform. The play a key, vendor and client-facing role on project teams starting from the strategy phase and continuing through design, implementation, and support.

  • Serve as liaison between Vendors, Business teams, and Systems teams
  • Are strong communicators and presenters
  • Develop and document requirements, functional specifications, and user stories and communicate them to all teams.
  • Assist in performing Quality Assurance testing post-development
  • Take a lead role in the implementation and roll-out of new software
  • Provide high-quality process and analysis to understand requirements
  • Thrive in a fast paced, team environment, and can work individually or as member of a cross-functional team

Key Accountabilities
  • Ability to work independently on a project or task
  • Responsible for working closely with team leads to ascertain business objectives
  • Add value in formulating recommendations and developing creative mobile solutions
  • Analyze business requirements to evaluate suitability of packaged applications vs. custom applications
  • Review the efficiency of existing processes and systems and develop strategies for improvement
  • Lead discovery meetings with Subject Matter Experts to capture business requirements
  • Create documentation for requirements, functional specifications, user stories, flow charts, and presentations
  • Provide orientation and support to end users for new and modified system releases
  • Maintain communication with and between Systems Teams, the Business, and Vendors throughout the project
  • Support the development of end user manuals and instructional documentation

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the business and technical personnel
  • Thorough understanding of business processes and a firm grasp of SDLC methods (Agile & Waterfall)
  • Strong ability to interpret internal customers' business needs and translate these needs into requirements
  • Able to develop relationships with internal customer base and advocate on their behalf
  • Strong critical thinking and analysis skills
  • Results-Oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Conceptual familiarity with Mobile Development and Technology
  • Ability to successfully handle many diverse projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with management and others in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to travel as required (less than 15%)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable work experience
  • 4+ years Business Systems experience, 4+ years involvement with software development cycle
  • 4+ years developing and documenting business requirements and specifications
  • 2+ years working with Mobile technologies such as android, IOS
