SAP MMP SD Business Analyst

Location: Hauppauge, New York
 Candidate will provide SAP business analysis, support, and training in a team oriented, multi-discipline, full life cycle support SAP ECC 6.0 environment.  Responsibilities include providing configuration expertise, business process analysis and re-engineering, data migration requirements, training, and direct end user support.  
  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Project support including analysis/requirements and project scope documents, business process design, and SAP configuration
·       Defining and implementing work procedures, standards, and methods
·       Working with other Business Analysts to develop best practices around the integration and deployment of SAP applications-solutions within existing architectures in a multi-site environment
·       Reporting and interfacing functional specifications, training, development, and execution
·       Supporting business processes as they relate to the SAP SD and LE modules, scaling outside of traditional SD-LE disciplines as required
·       Developing training scripts and business process procedures; working directly with users in training capacities
·       Special projects and other duties as assigned
·       Regular, reliable attendance with the ability to work outside the normal work schedule as business demand dictates
·       Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
Education and/or Experience
·       BS or BA degree in Computer Science or similar field of study required, or five to seven years experience in two or more of the following areas within SAP: Logistics Execution, Sales Execution, Warehousing, Pricing, Vistex, Shipping, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skill/Ability Requirements                                     
·       SAP Sales and Distribution, Order to Cash, Logistics Execution subject matter expert with overall architecture, processes, functionality, and technical components
·       Deep knowledge of Sales business processes
·       Knowledge of at least one of the following Industry Sectors – Distribution, Consumer Products, Discrete/Repetitive Manufacturing
·       Ability to work with CoE's to develop key users and deliver projects in a diverse delivery model
·       Must have 4 + years of experience with SAP SD-LE including experience with SAP MM and WM modules, Vistex, Discrete, repetitive and make to order manufacturing, multiple logistics philosophies, Multiple plant manufacturing – supply chain, and experience with combinations of the following:
1.       Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Bills of Material, Goods Movement, Storage Area and Bin Management, Stock Placements and Removals, Decentralized Warehousing, Batch Management, Picking, Packing
2.       SAP Workflow, Document Management System (DMS), Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Planning and Forecasting, Warehouse Management, Make to Order, Assemble to Order, and Make to Stock Processes, Actual Costing, Transportation Management
·       Solid skills and experience with requirements analysis and functional specifications for enterprise IT projects
·       Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
·       Strong personal computer skills including email and the Microsoft Office Suite of software products 
·       Experience contributing in a collaborative manner within a team structure-oriented environment
·       Experience in dealing with highly technical issues and a demonstrated ability to craft effective solutions to business problems/opportunities
·       Self motivated, with good organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
·       Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical teammates, clients, and superiors
·       Must work well under time constraints in a fast paced environment and have the ability to analyze solutions from a cost, technical, or functional perspective, including project management skills
·       Quick learner able to adapt to changing priorities as they develop
·       Must  be a leader in resolving issues while working comfortably as part of a team
·       Must be service-oriented, results driven, with proven implementation experience
·       Experience in BW is a major plus
