Executive, Business Development

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to position Powertek to acquire new customers and to take Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Cloud Services, Software Engineering and Overarching IT Services into new customers/markets. We are looking for candidate with direct DoD, DHS, and DOJ sales experience and established relationships with C-Level executives. The candidate will focus on helping Powertek promote our services to existing and new government customers and secure new relationships and foster the growth of our services while developing a trusted relationship with new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities and build business relationships with current and potential customers
  2. Collaborate with leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
  3. Experience executing “Win Plan” life cycle across multiple simultaneous opportunities and proposals
  4. Consistently meet sales and profitability goals
  5. Must generate new business with DoD, U.S. Army, DISA, DHS, and DOJ
  6. Manage and develop relationships with customers and provide a consultative sales approach that delivers the maximum level of account management services
  7. Position,configure and quote service solutions to clients
  8. Experience in building & maintaining Key alliances / networking with key executives from Government and teaming partners
  9. Deep Knowledge of technology/services in named key customer accounts (Software Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics)
  10. Must have track record in capturing new business and running successful captures and pipeline management
  11. Must be able to manage opportunity collaboration sessions and gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, and proposal writing and reviews.
  12. Ability to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies; regularly interact with all levels of management, operations teams, staff, and internal customers; and display a high degree of tact and diplomacy
  13. Experience winning task orders for the U.S. Army ITES IDIQ contract
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Five years of related experience selling IT Solutions to government customers 
Experience with customer sales engagement to include pro-active networking, warm calling, and selling to multiple contacts within an organization, including 'C' levels.
Proven track record of successful capture and pipeline management across multiple DoD organizations and program offices at a variety of acquisition sizes in US Army, DISA, DHS, and/or DOJ.
Demonstrated working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas, information and reports

Required Skills:
The ability to share the goals and concerns of the customer and understand the technology partner and products available to meet their goals and solve their challenges
Emphasis and proven experience is required in the DoD, U.S. Army, DISA, DISA, DHS, and/or DOJ.
Experience with lead generation and prospect management

Master's degree preferred
Leadership skills to develop, organize and motivate teams to perform highly effectively and efficiently
Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish a solid working relationship with the proposal organization and the business units teams
