Director, Business Development

Location: Rockville, Maryland
Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities to meet corporate goals and sales quota in the DoD, especially for: US Army, DISA and WHS

Develop Win Strategy and Capture Plan for targeted opportunities.
Determine customer technical solutions, identify key personnel and potential teaming partners, assess the pricing strategy, determined PTW, etc.
Collaborate with Business Unit Operations Directors, Proposal Operations, and COO to develop win strategy, bid solution including teaming strategy, technical and management approaches, and determine PTW, etc.
Develop and maintain customer relationships, and engage with target community through conferences, industry events, customer meetings, etc.
Note: This is a hands-on position for a motivated individual contributor, not a manager/mentoring role.

CLEARANCE: Clearable             Travel: 10%

Ability to identify, qualify, prioritize, and position to win DoD opportunities aligned to Powertek's core capability areas (IT operations, application development and data management, and cyber security)
Ability to develop account strategy AND specific opportunity capture strategy, and translate into specific actions
Experience with both business development AND capture
Understanding of Powertek's core capability areas (e.g., industry and technology trends, buzzwords) and how they apply to the target DoD agencies
Understanding of DoD acquisition trends, vehicles, etc.
Have the excellent written and verbal communications skills.

The development, negotiation and execution of all Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and Teaming Agreements (TA) for the opportunity).
Experience collaborating with Proposal Managers to create plans for the proposal development phases.

A dynamic leader, motivator, communicator, and problem solver.
Bachelor's degree in technical-related field; MBA helpful.
7-10 years of direct experience with capture and business development is required (Federal Government).
