  • Experience with online marketing and lead generation
  • Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
  • Experience in writing web content for websites / portals from scratch
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience in writing, editing and proof reading copy for client projects based on the material supplied by them
  • Writing product descriptions, brand support material etc.
  • Experience in proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis for building up the website including informative short articles
  • Check web pages finally before making them live
  • Good command over the English language
  • Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences
  • An understanding of keywords and meta tags - Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc.
  • Research ideas and facts pertinent to the type of content/topic assigned
  • Develop prototypes and storyboards using a multitude of media creation and graphics editing tools
  • Experience in SEO techniques, and best practices for content while adhering web standards
  • Working knowledge of website structures, information architecture, and content management systems
  • Experience in writing for the web, content management and internet research
  • Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and working with content management systems (CMS)
  • Develop & document procedures to manage web content
  • Prepare internal and external communications including announcements, press releases, analytics reports, presentations, technical documentation, sales support, etc. as needed

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' functional experience in web content writing, editing and proofreading
  • Website Content Design, Copy-Editing, Survey Design, Promotion & branding, Keyword & search engine optimization
  • Special talent for MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree from an accredited institution

Desired Experience:
Preferable experience with Library of Congress (LoC)
