Note: l. SharePoint Management Support: Administration and management of SharePoint and/or other content-management systems.

Job Description:
The Contractor shall provide all support services related to the planning, development, implementation, integration, administration, training, and business analyst support for Microsoft SharePoint (and/or Content Management solution). USAMRMC requires new solutions to automate processes, improve collaboration and provide performance data for management decision making. These functional and technical areas include:

  • Installation and Configuration

  • Collaboration Portal
  • Security Configuration
  • Advanced Search Capabilities
  • Forms Development
  • Content Management I Document Management
  • Workflow Development
  • Dashboarding I Reporting Development

SharePoint Architect/Subject Matter Expertise:
Provide scope planning, architecture and license planning. This includes pre-implementation planning, version upgrade planning, analysis of current hardware and software requirements, and integration planning into existing systems such Open Text Content Server.
  • Provide project planning for migration of OpenText Content Server content into SharePoint.
  • Provide project planning for migrating files on network shares into SharePoint
  • Provide technical architecture analysis including hardware, software, and security, CAC enabling, and related support
  • Maintain project management of SharePoint implementation, business analysis and development activities

SharePoint Development:
  • Provide design, development, testing and deployment of SharePoint portal including advanced features, forms development dashboarding, and related services. The contractor shall be responsible for web and portal development including graphical layout, database development, coding and programming.
  • Provide ASP .NET development activities within Software Development Lifecycle methodologies including design, development, testing, and deploying
  • Provide Single Sign-On and CAC enabling security features including tools to administer user access and information access levels.
  • Design custom layouts and GUIs (graphical user interfaces)
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and advanced search capabilities

SharePoint Business Analyst Support:
Provide business and workflow requirements, content development and provisioning, documentation, and user training. The contractor shall provide business and information analyst support to improve business workflow and information management for USAMRMC and subordinate Commands. Support also includes user training.
  • Provide business process workflow automation
  • Provide advanced content management and document management structures (including migration of existing applications from OpenText Content Server)
  • Support USAMRMC with comprehensive management reporting metrics including algorithms, data outputting, key performance indicators, and statistical displays
  • Develop and provide documentation including additional requirements, user guides, administration guides and other documentation as needed.
  • Provide user training including advanced feature capabilities, workflow, and general support.

SharePoint Administration:
  • Provide Farm, server and supporting MS SQL Server database comprehensive administration support, configuration support, development, testing and production installation and configuration, security and user management, configuration updates, backup and restore, and other maintenance support.
  • Provide all administration, configuration, version upgrade,and maintenance support
  • Provide all hardware and license installation
  • Implement Development, Testing, and Production hardware and configuration
  • Provide backups and data restores
  • Implement security features and vulnerability patches based on Microsoft and DoD guidance
  • Provide third level support and troubleshooting
  • Upgrade SharePoint and MS SQL Server as new versions are approved by higher authority


Required Experience:
6-8 years of relevant experience.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management, Physical Science, or other technically related discipline.

Desired Experience:
At least 6-8 years of experience in a position with a similar size and scope.

Required Certification(s):
All staff are required to be at IAT Level II (described in DoD 8570.01M) and certified in their own CE.
