Payroll Tax Adminstrator

 Description
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must possess knowledge of federal, state, and local taxes including multi-state taxation
  • Utilizing ADP's outsourced tax compliance: process, disseminate, and file W2's accurately and timely
  • Coordinate with tax agencies, ADP, and internal Tax Deartment to resolve tax disputes
  • Inform management of changes to tax requirements that impact the company and/or employees
  • Reconcile returns to quarterly and annual reporting from HRIS system and ADP
  • Respond promptly to inquiries for information from external and internal customers including taxing authorities
  • Large employer experience using multiple federal tax ID (FEIN) require
  • Ability to research and implement compliance requirements at the federal, state and local level
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the field of payroll tax
  • Experience with outsourced ADP tax filing/compliance is required
  • 5 plus years of experience in area of Payroll tax administration
  • Excellent problem solving, independent decision making and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure in a high volume environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong skills in Excel (Functions, pivot tables, calculations &Filtering)
