Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Prototype Project Manager to facilitate the integration of high profile Basemap initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing spatial data (or related mapping) projects; facilitating cross-team collaboration, coordination and tracking of initiative projects, initiative status roll up, and contributing to the program vision. Detail-oriented with the ability to comprehend complex tools, workflows and processes is critical. Applicants must thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications
-5+ years as project and/or program manager working on large scale mapping initiatives
-Expert at tracking and communicating project progress - knowing when to highlight issues
-Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to meet milestones
-Proactive and clear communication
-Experience with process and workflow development
-Experience coordinating multiple, innovative and pioneering projects
-Ability to monitor shifting schedules and preparedness to execute prototype projects with little lead time
-Experience contributing to strategic direction
-Experience with project lifecycles
We are looking for an individual to join our team who will:
Serve as the point of contact for Program Initiative
Provide mapping expertise to the strategic direction of the Program Initiative
Coordinate and execute project lifecycle for multiple, complex prototype projects
Design end-to-end project requirements and process flows
Recognize and act on opportunities for automation, integration and standardization of processes
Coordinate development of deliverables and execute hand-offs with Operations team

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineer, product, services, and specification teams
Coordinate a team of technical analysts and specialists
Track, measure, evaluate and report on Initiative progress throughout lifecycle
Provide business representation in the engineering/development process and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
Education qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field is required; master's degree preferred
Project/Program Management certification a plus
