Security Analyst

Responsibilities:
Serve as technical information security analyst and as a contributor to cross functional teams for deployment and support of security specific infrastructure to provide information security to the enterprise.
Document, conduct review sessions and obtain approval of requirements for the Role Mining and re-engineering process
Assist with review of existing Role Based Access Control (RBAC) in use within the enterprise
Assist with and define Functional roles for access to improve user experience during the request process
Review Functional roles with Resource Managers to obtain feedback and approval
Assist with implementation of the Functional roles
Interact with other Technical and Operation Support Service teams to develop tactical and strategic programs to address processes, controls, organization and infrastructure to manage information security related concerns and satisfy directives.
Assist with reviews of current and new CareFirst systems and applications, including changes to existing applications/systems, to assure compliance with Information Security policies and standards.
Apply creative thinking in problem solving and identifying opportunities for improvements in security.
Provide Information Security related recommendations regarding CareFirst infrastructure components (communications network, physical security, data access, computer hardware/software and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability).

Requirements:
BA or BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business or equivalent work experience.
Previous experience and knowledge of Role Based Access Control.
Experience in Information security and familiarity with Identity and Access Management and Role engineering.
Strong written documentation skills and technical writing are required.
