• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for applications involving Big Data and Oracle systems.
• Perform functional, integration, and system testing across data pipelines and database environments.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across large-scale datasets.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality.
• Support testing of ETL processes, data migrations, and data transformations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in test and production environments.
• Contribute to test automation and continuous testing practices where applicable.
• Follow established QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with:
o Oracle Database testing
o Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.)
o SQL (advanced queries for data validation)
o Data validation techniques
o Writing test cases and test scenarios
o Defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Experience with:
o ETL testing and data warehousing concepts
o Data migration and reconciliation testing
o Unix/Linux commands (basic scripting is a plus)
• Working knowledge of:
o Test automation tools (Selenium, PyTest, or similar)
