We are seeking a seasoned Snowflake Developer with a strong background in data engineering and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL stored procedures, and Python, along with a solid understanding of data integration tools and platforms. This role involves documentation (creating design documents) and coding for data pipelines, store procedures and python scripts
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake and Python (preferably Snowpark).
Write and optimize complex Python & SQL queries in stored procedures for data transformation and reporting.
Integrate data from various sources including SFTP, AWS S3, and Excel files.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and configuration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.
Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing via Confluence and JIRA.
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of IT experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, data sharing, etc.).
Expertise in Python & SQL for data processing and automation.
Expertise in writing and optimizing Python and SQL stored procedures.
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
Ability to understand and troubleshoot configuration and data pipeline issues effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Automic scheduling tools.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
