We are seeking a contract Development Operations Software engineers develop the technologies that will power the firm into the future and change the way we do business, enter new markets, and serve clients. We are looking for full-stack engineers to work on exciting problems and create industry leading solutions that meet the highest standards in security, quality, and user experience. We have tremendous opportunities in a variety of areas, including consumer platforms, user interface design, mobile, catalog and database design, information retrieval, security, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing. Engineers work in small teams led by an engineering manager and collaborate closely with product management and design to build new products and create new businesses.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact, develop, engineer and communicate at the highest technical levels of organizational decision-making
  • Support developers in the organization by making great tools and processes for them
  • Ability to design and configure virtual network topologies, especially in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience designing configuration management systems using tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt & Jenkins
  • Ability to provision, monitor, optimize and scale AWS infrastructure using APIs
  • Strong coding capability in one or more languages, especially bash and Python
  • Experience with automation and workflow management, Docker, and application load balancing solutions for scaling and HA, Amazon Web Service, Hadoop and related projects, and data analysis/visualization
  • Linux and/or Windows administration experience
  • Well versed in internet architectures, including web, application, and database components such as Apache, IIS, memcache, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
  • Deep understanding of firewalls, NAT and packet filtering (specifically Iptables)
  • General Networking skills required (Layer 2 & 3 switches, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.)
