eDiscovery Analyst

The eDiscovery Analyst translates high level legal collection requests into business requirement. Often will include direct engagement with business users in order to extract and understand business objectives.

Relevant Years of Experience Required:
  • 3+ years of experience collecting structured and unstructured data from various data sources.
  • Manage eDiscovery requests and inquiries
  • Manage request issues log to initiate, track and record the resolution of issues
  • Must be able to document business and technology process flows clearly using standard tools
  • Expected to be able to determine and advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.
  • Follow and update eDiscovery structured data collection procedures
  • Manage eDiscovery requests to ensure all support requests are met on time and communicate with requestor/stakeholders
  • Develop and execute SQL queries based on business application EDD requirements.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and coordinate creation of queries with other technical resources
  • Work closely with business and IT resources to define collection requirements in support of eDiscovery requests
  • Collection, Processing, and delivery of data for processing
  • Work with IT and business resources to update and or develop new collection procedures
  • Assist in testing and QA of collection and processing tools for system implementation and upgrades
Other Requirements (Specialized skill sets, behavioral/technical):
  • Business/Data Analyst Experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Operating System and MS Office 365
  • Experience managing collection requests
  • Strong analytic and problem solving abilities
  • Good interpersonal skills, i.e., Strong verbal, and written communication, works well in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • eDiscovery experience is required
  • Clearwell experience is a plus
Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
