 Job Objective:
 Accountable for Sales – Relationship Management –Trust Administration – Investment Services, the trust officer generates new trust and investment business, is accountable for all aspects of assigned personal trust relationships, administers selected accounts and builds trusted advisor relationships, and provides client specific investment management advice. Maintains an emphasis on new business growth and client retention through personalized service; and remains focused on exceeding client expectations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage a client portfolio of client relationships consisting of Personal Trust and Investment Management Accounts
  • Manage a book of relationships including all new relationships sold by Officer
  • Work with Trust Managing Director to develop sales strategies to attract new Trust Clients and to expand existing Trust relationships
  • Develop and expand Center of Influence referral network to sell Trust products to COI client base.
  • Assume administrative responsibility for a selected group of accounts.
  • Meet with clients for the purpose of discussing their needs and benefits of our services, expand client relationships, and review investment performance
  • Monitor account activity and portfolio mix to ensure that established investment guidelines are always met

Candidate Qualifications
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree and/or equivalent trust experience
  • 10+ years personal trust experience
  • Record of new business success through ongoing outreach
  • and other qualified retirement plan experience
  • Proven investment advisory / management experience
  • Total Years of Experience: 10+
  • Years of Experience in Present Position: 5+
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dedication to serving client needs and relationship development
  • Experienced at periodically performing client calls
  • Excellent communications skills – written and verbal
  • PC literate and knowledge of trust accounting systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and collegial work attitude

  • Certifications: Certified Trust and Financial Advisor Preferred
