ANALOG DESIGN ENGINEER

Staff Perm is assisting a Mixed Signal Audio Division in hiring highly skilled Analog IC Design Engineers to join their team developing high performance data converter IC's for professional and consumer audio markets.

The Design Engineers are responsible for the development of analog and mixed signal circuitry in high performance mixed signal audio processing IC's. You will participate in all aspects of the design including specification, architectural development, transistor level design, layout supervision, chip level verification, and lab validation.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Strong knowledge of analog integrated circuit design fundamentals
  • CMOS operational amplifier design skills
  • Discrete time and continuous time signal processing skills
  • Expert knowledge in delta sigma data converter design
  • Transistor and system level simulation skills
  • Strong lab and silicon validation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience taking designs from concept to mass production
  • Low-power/low-voltage Audio-class delta-sigma ADCs
  • Develop DACs; Headphone, Line and Speaker drivers; Proprietary Low-Voltage Line Drivers; DC/DC Converters; and other various supporting circuitry in advanced CMOS processes
  • Participate in all aspects of the design, from concept to production silicon


QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
  • 5+ to 7 years' experience
  • Mixed Signal CMOS Circuit Design
  • Analog Integrated Circuit Design
  • CMOS Operational Amplifier Design skills
  • Discrete Time and Continuous Time Signal Processing
  • Expert knowledge in Delta Sigma Data Converter Design
  • Transistor and System Level Simulation
  • Lab and Silicon Validation
  • Proven experience taking designs from concept to mass production
  • Audio CODEC applications and circuits
  • ADC and/or DAC
  • Verilog (SystemVerilog, VerilogA, Verilog-AMS)
  • Matlab - Required
  • Labview - Required
  • Perl scripting - Required
Educational Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering
