  • Develop, maintain, and enhance patterns, guidelines, and standards for the rapid adoption of cloud technologies and methodologies, and integrate initiatives into the company's overall IT Strategy and Architecture.
  • Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic cloud solutions to meet business outcomes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and promote the use of emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with software engineering, application operations, and DevOps functions for integrated technology introduction, development of enhanced processes, procedures, and operational approaches.
  • Provide Consulting to Business and IT teams to effectively leverage cloud technologies, environments, and services to develop business solutions.
  • Foster and lead the development of a Cloud Center of Competency to repeatedly apply learnings, rapidly adopt new capabilities, and accelerate overall cloud adoption.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of Information Technology working experience
  • 3 to 4 years of experience with Public Cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Practical software engineering leadership experience utilizing Java, Node.JS, PHP, Ruby on Rails, etc. in an Agile environment.
  • Working knowledge of code repositories and associated tools (Github, Artifactory, etc.)
  • Experience building DevOps processes for software development, testing, etc.
  • Working knowledge of various CI/CD automation and orchestration tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible,).
  • Experience in Cloud related tools / products / containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • General networking experience with familiarly in LAN/WAN topologies, firewalls, proxies, etc
  • Minimum 5 years background with compute and storage virtualization across Windows and Linux workloads and block, object, etc. storage.
  • Experienced in establishing and documenting policies and procedures to standardize technology operations, security controls, and reliability standards.
  • Minimum BA/BS in Information Technology, IT Engineering, Computer Science or related practical experience
