FP&A Manager

Location: Salisbury, Maryland
Our direct client in southern Delaware has an opening for an FP&A Manager to join their growing organization. This location can be in either Salisbury, MD or Seaford, DE. This role will have direct reports from multiple international manufacturing subsidiaries and be responsible for consolidating budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with regular exposure and reporting to the CFO. The FP&A Manager will ideally have a mixture of accounting and finance responsibilities in addition to participation in oversight of acquisitions and ERP implementations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on component to the finance team with the ability to progress into a strategic function in the future.

Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Consolidation of budgeting, financial forecasts, financial reporting and analysis of multiple subsidiaries, both domestic and international
  • Inventory analysis and turnover analysis, prior experience working within a manufacturer highly preferred
  • Responsible for identifying process efficiencies and implementing change. Prior lean accounting experience preferred as well.
  • Interact with accounting team regarding financial statement preparation, revenue recognition, and inventory analysis

Requirements
  • 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or government contractor
  • Prior experience working with a large ERP such as SAP or Oracle, previous system implementation experience preferred
  • Previous experience within mergers/acquisitions preferred
