Job Description:

Top Performing Bank with industry leading returns and metrics focused in the litigation industry seeks Senior ACH Program Manager to focus on the continued growth and buildout of its ACH Platform for Banking and Merchant Services Customer to enhance fee income.


To drive the Banks ACH business line initiatives and day-to-day ACH operational activities. As the Bank engages in change programs, drive transformation of the current Operational and Technology Landscape in support of the ACH Businesses. To develop and deliver against a Roadmap that achieves the Target Business in balance with maintaining service quality throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating ACH business and development activities.
  • Develops and implements initiatives in accordance with planned business results, time frames and budgets; establishing disciplined operational, project management and measurement approaches.
  • Prepares and presents project proposals under established standards and documentation requirements.
  • Directs staff, monitors ACH operational processes, business & technology, and create enhanced policy and procedures.
  • Applications under this manager's line of responsibility include bank ACH operational activities - applications that support the Banking, ACH, merchant, retail and payment processing.

Essential Functions:
  • Identify and contribute to identification of the solutioning for the Target ACH Operating Models and business roadmap.
  • Work closely with the other business areas, sales, underwriting/risk and compliance to develop a delivery plan for the associated ACH operational roadmap.

  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures and controls for the ACH Operations Department
  • Manage ACH Operations Staff coordinating all settlement proof and processes for both ACH Operations and Merchant processing.
  • Work with Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer to ensure that operations are in compliance with all banking regulatory requirements, member of the bank's Compliance Committee, perform self-assessments, reviewing disclosures and agreements, interface with Auditors and regulators
  • Ensure the integrity of the Bank's ACH policies and procedures
  • Adapt and respond to changes
  • Work to resolve conflict and seek compromise and buy-in
  • Ensure effective communication, such that there is the ability to facilitate timely and accurate decision-making with clients.
  • Performs periodic self-audits to ensure compliance with internal and external procedures/regulatory requirements
  • Mentors and develops assigned ACH operations staff and takes appropriate steps to enhance problem solving capabilities.
  • Provides periodic reporting to various levels of management regarding individual, departmental, and projects status and progress, identifying issues or potential problems. Makes recommendations and decisions regarding alternatives or solutions

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Strong experience in Bank Operational Activities and Technology.
  • Strong leadership, management and team building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Business case development skills for developing budgets, cost/benefits, and total cost of ownership, ROI, payback and other financial analyses as needed.
  • Familiarity with Banking – Commercial Loan, Bank Operation Activities ACH, Fed, Recon.
  • Understanding of Bank Operation, Bank Products, financial instruments and compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • The ability to successfully communicate with C-level stakeholders in an environment with high expectations where priorities and projects are constantly dynamic.

  • Work in management, Commercial Banking, Electronic Funds Transfer (ACH/Wire/Payment Processing) and Technology
