Vendor Manager - Contract

Atlantic Partners has a direct Corporate client located in New York City who has an immediate need for a Vendor Manager for a (w2) Contract opportunity.

Duties:

Our client's Real Assets team is sourcing a unique role that will offer a seasoned vendor manager the opportunity to support AMRS, EMEA, and APAC COO teams. The role will focus on managing the investment level vendor program for the regions and on special projects. We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual who enjoys a career in vendor management and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate with various teams within the company including finance, investment management, COO, risk, compliance and legal teams. The position is based in New York, NY.

Specific responsibilities will include the following:
  • Oversee investment-related vendors
  • Assist in sourcing cycle, including vendor risk and contract (editing in collaboration with Legal and risk counterparts)
  • Support Business Management and RQA teams in implementation of new sourcing and risk system
  • Identify areas of improvement or efficiencies in the sourcing cycle
  • Resolve issues relating to supplier performance or deviations from original work estimates
  • Work closely with Risk Reviewers and RQA to identify risks and opportunities to mitigate risk
  • Perform quarterly review and allocation analysis of fund re-charge expenses as outlined in each regional operating procedures
  • Assist in adhoc projects as needed
Required Skills:
  • Candidates must have excellent analytical skills, a strong work ethic, and ability to manager several deals at one time. Ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
  • 2 years of analytical, Sourcing/Procurement and Vendor Management experience
  • Excellent presentation, listening, reading comprehension, and written communication skills. Ideal candidate should feel comfortable communicating with senior levels of management
  • Procurement experience with MSAs, CSAs, and SOWs, preferable in the Professional Services category
  • Prior exposure to developing RFP's is preferred
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, clients and vendors
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Minimum of BA degree or equivalent
