Our direct client is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work in their Newark, NJ location. This is a 12+ month right to hire opportunity.

Scope of Work:

Our direct client is looking for a Senior Datamart Developer whose primary responsibility will be enhancing and supporting internally developed applications. The candidate will be part of a team that works with Business Analysts, Investment Professionals, Operations, Quality Assurance Testers and other System Professionals. The candidate will also be responsible for trouble shooting and resolving support issues for the Fixed Income supported systems.

The qualified candidate must:
  • Analyze business requirements then design and develop applications to support them
  • Understand and follow the complete software development life cycle methodology
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Possess the ability to associate past experience with current events in order to resolve problems or generate new ideas

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automated delivery and developing automation workflows and routines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure design, implementation and delivery.
  • Experience with Open Source tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Jenkins.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with automation or development in Python, Ruby, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in Bitbucket, Jenkins and Artifactory.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in managing in house Atlassian infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience in technology delivery in a DevOps / Cloud Engineering environment.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a huge plus.
  • Strong grasp of automation and monitoring tools (ability to automate repeatable tasks via scripting)
  • Ability to define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems
  • Strong ownership, urgency, and drive to launch new services, set new standards, and implement automation at a large scale
