Government Contract Manager - Perm

Job Description:

The Government Contract Manager is responsible for Contract Administration and Billing for the Government Agency projects. The incumbent will work closely with Sales, Program Management and Legal functions and various Government Agencies and Contractors.

Job accountabilities include:
  • Reviewing and ensuring accuracy in bi-monthly billing
  • Hosting weekly meetings to stay abreast of US government business development and RFP and/or contract requests
  • Contract Administration

Other Responsibilities:
  • Participate and contribute to contract reviews, including contract modifications
  • Ensure compliance across the organization with contract terms and conditions (e.g., Period of Performance(POP), 508, status reporting)
  • Complete contract closeouts as required
  • Maintain contract documents and ancillary materials
  • Manage Client GSA pricing and product updates, as needed/required, in cooperation with internal legal department

  • Subject matter expert for invoicing and billing requirements specific to government-based business/individual contracts
  • Quarterly Industrial Funding Fee (IFF): Manage, oversee and ensure timely/accurate issuance
  • Maintain the invoice tracking system

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of related experience
  • 5-8 year's work experience in a contract related area
  • Understanding of business and contractual terms
  • Excellent organization, documentation and communication skills
  • Extreme focus on accuracy, attention to detail and consistency of work
  • Ability to build and foster effective internal and external cross-functional relationships
  • Desire to beat and/or meet deadlines and deliver results with minimum supervision
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency and experience utilizing external reporting systems
  • This is a full-time, in-office position, so candidate must live in commuting distance to New York City

  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with web-based sales management (Sales Force) and document sharing sites (Box and SharePoint)
