US Payroll Compare Test Lead (Test Manager) - Contract

Our direct client is seeking a Test Manager to work in their Newark, NJ location. This is a 7+ month contract opportunity.

Scope of Work:

The US Payroll Compare Test Lead will be responsible for US payroll parallel testing comparisons for the Global HR and Payroll Initiative, providing rigor and test scenarios to ensure the configured Workday HRIS and Payroll implementation is fit for purpose.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for creating detailed US payroll compare test plan.
  • Identify, document and monitor defects generated in compare testing and identify a strategy for resolution.
  • Confirm adherence to US Payroll test strategy by test team.
  • Work with Test Lead and Technical Lead to oversee testing effort and coordinate defect resolution.
  • Provide regular status updates for US payroll compare summary, key issues, risks, dependencies, interdependencies, mitigation plans and impediments.
  • When required, liaise with business and payroll operations to answer questions and provide information.
  • Must have experience in US Payroll Operations and have previously led US Payroll Comparison for a HRIS Payroll project.
  • Workday Payroll experience is preferred.
