Market Research Project Manager - RTH

Job Description:

The market research project manager will be responsible for analysis and fielding of market research projects. The project manager will communicate project updates, issues and resolutions directly to the client to ensure a high level of service/consultation is delivered to help drive business opportunities. Additionally the project manager will work closely with internal teams and our partners/vendors. The project manager will be directly responsible for fully delivering the outlined project specifications on-time while meeting/exceeding client expectations. Specific responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage the development, fielding, programming and/or data processing of quantitative and qualitative market research.
  • Review and recommend survey instrument improvements to the client
  • Prepare and review final deliverables including cross-tabulations, banner plans, topline summary.
  • Pro-actively inform clients of recruitment issues and recommendations on resolving these issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely project set-up, execution and project closure based on the project specifications and timeline.
  • Prepare and execute plan to use various recruitment methods to meet survey quotas by the clients deadline.
  • Prepare/Update feasibility for clients' during project execution and in support of the bids team when exceeding manageable levels.
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to employ multi-mode recruitment tactics and ensure accurate set up, execution and close-out of client research projects.
  • Ensure all survey completers are accurately paid within specified timeframes.
  • Prepare cost analysis for finance and accounting to accurately close out and invoice projects.
  • Update project status information on a regular basis in order to maintain accurate project records and provide timely revenue forecasting updates.
  • Work closely with the customer support team to ensure that member survey inquiries related to the projects you manage are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Research and identify trends within our survey member environment and recommend/present actionable insights based on findings
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements of post-sales processes.

Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years market research experience
  • 3+ years of program/project management experience
  • Must be able to prioritize and adhere to established timelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS-Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) a must.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelors in marketing, technology or other aligned major.
  • Prior experience in an analytical role is preferred
  • Experience in account management
  • Experience in survey programming logic, testing surveys
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative market research

Education/Certifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience. Advanced graduate level degree is a plus.
