IT Senior Software Engineer - Pega - Perm

Your role:

Global Asset Management Operations IT team is looking for a Senior Pega Developer who would be responsible for developing the BPM processes for Product Data Management.

Roles and Responsibilities


• For the BPM/Pega platform, performs and leads the detail technical design, coding, code review and testing.
• Provide estimates of work, assist with resource/time allocations, properly follow project life cycle, develop and document technical designs, support testing cycles and support software implementations.
• Meet with clients and other members of the project team to identify or clarify requirements to better achieve desired outcomes.
• Recommend technical solutions to project team and/or offer alternative solutions when appropriate.
• Perform/Support Pega Application Packaging & Deployment.


Your team:

You'll be working in the AM DATA - Products Reporting team in Weehawken, NJ. We are a newly formed team ramping up to support our growing product backlog. We work in agile/scrum format and are eager to have you join and extend the approach.

Your experience and skills:

• 8+ years of proven development and delivery experience, with large, enterprise IT projects.
• On Pega Platform (version 7+)
• Must have strong expertise in Developing detailed flows and activities.
• Must have expertise in Creating and Customizing User Interfaces on Pega platform.
• Must have expertise in designing Rulesets, Class Structures and Data Models.
• Must have expertise in implementing role based secure access to data and operations.
• Must have expertise in Connecting Pega with external systems (SOAP/REST/Databases/Files etc).
• Must have expertise in configuring/developing Work Allocation and Escalation process.
• Must have expertise in developing custom reports from Pega.
• Must have expertise in Administration, Deployment of Pega Applications, Version Control and Release Management.
• Experience in building and implementing model-driven, object-oriented enterprise-level business solutions and applications.
• Must have experience on Java & UNIX based Application development including, but not limited to, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, XML).
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications.

• Design and implementation of Integration platform as a components of the AM Core Data Architecture
• Demonstrable team leadership with an onshore/offshore development team
• Clearly documented operational manual for the delivered platform – aiding transition to steady-state maintenance
