AM Data Program Manager - Perm

Are you a multitasker? Are you solid as a rock when you're juggling a lot of projects?

We're looking for someone like this to:
  • Chair and run steering committee meetings and establish process to present current project plans to the business
  • exhibit Project management skills in a financial industry,asset management preferably
  • Provide impact analysis based on input provided by project managers and manage Agile based development process
  • Be responsible to manage and to meet budget expectations for all AM Data streams and provide financials
  • Monitor internal time tracking and booking and carry out adjustments, co-ordinate with diverse client, user and IT teams, in addition to cross divisions, to achieve deliverables agreed upon within set deadlines.
  • Provide weekly status update on program and projects to the business and assess & manage risks and issues including steps for mitigation
  • Support & manage the hiring process by following the policies of the bank
  • Manage special projects (pilots, PoC, etc.) and occasionally take over from other project managers.
  • Provide an overview of critical blockers and issues on a program level and provide monthly status update reports on a program and project level
  • Manage & present roadmap for near and distant future on a program level including mapping future activities from the 3 year roadmap to required stills & resources
  • Maintain integrity of future hires with yearly budget.
  • Manage efficient execution of all expected PMO artefacts (reports to senior management and stakeholders, presentations, project plans, etc.) for AM Data
  • Implement and execute a process to keep the requirements tracking tool and our business project plans current and in sync.
  • Performance, reporting and resource management skills

Reporting Line:

This role reports to Head of Core Platform Technology, Asset Management IT and has overall IT responsibility for delivering on multiple divisional initiatives, including build-out of foundational components like security and pricing master, a new approach to enabling data governance, and building towards 3-5 year strategic vision, including Product 360 and a data platform / data cube for investment teams. Technology team is primarily based in Weehawken, Zurich, and Pune locations.

Your experience and skills:
  • Knowledge of all elements of IT development and are experienced with the full project lifecycles – Scope change management. Ability to work in agile/scrums format and vision to extend existing approaches.
  • Strong communication & program management skills to plan, execute and deliver a complex data program with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner with senior business stakeholders leveraging soft skills to navigate across organizational unit boundaries towards successful delivery.
  • 10+ years of solid program/project management experience
  • Strong experience with chairing and running SteerCo meetings
  • Project management skills in a financial industry / banking / risk/ environment
  • The ability to co-ordinate with diverse client, user and IT teams, in addition to cross divisions, to achieve deliverables agreed upon within set deadlines.
  • Experience in managing teams and project deliveries
  • Manage complex programs with multiple threads and identify cross project & program dependencies.
  • Knowledge of all elements of IT development (Agile, SDLC, Continuous Delivery, DevOps) and are experienced with the full project lifecycles – Scope change management
  • Performance, reporting and resource management skills
  • Strong in articulating vision, approach and plan to senior management and business partners
  • Technical background with experience in technical lead capacity.
