Responsibilities
• Responsible for the onboarding of Trading Partner configurations in Sterling File Gateway
•Responsible for engineering and daily administration of the Managed File Transfer services and how applications, users, and customers interface with those services
• Creation of Business Processes, schedules, etc. in Sterling B2B Integrator
• Maintaining stability and performance of the Sterling File Gateway, Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Control Center and Sterling Secure Proxy environments.
• Responsible for creating best practices for Sterling File Gateway, Sterling B2B Integrator
• Assisting in defining project requirements and perform business analysis through the use of industry standard practices.
• Responsible for training resources in the use of Sterling File Gateway and Sterling B2B integrator; mentoring in a team-oriented environment
• Provide 24 x 7 on-call rotational support to users including troubleshooting and issue resolution Job Requirements
• Working knowledge of file transfer protocols including HTTPs, SFTP, FTPS, AS2 and Connect: Direct • Working knowledge of PGP encrypt/decrypt
• Experience working in Windows and UNIX environments
• Experience with MS SQL 2008/2012 database environments
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be directive and collaborative
• Strong writing/job documentation skills

Experience
• Direct hands-on experience, monitoring of, and responding to Managed File Transfer transactions
• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to troubleshoot operations issues and application failures
• Ability to work independently (this is a 24x7 shift and may require periods with no on-site supervision
• The ability to be flexible and multi-task as needed in a fast-paced environment

• Strong motivational and development skills, innovative problem solving skills, and negotiating skills. Solid financial management aptitude.
• Proven ability to exercise flexi¬bility and judgment in assessing business issues and risks in a dynamic environment.
• Extensive experience with the support of on and offshore support teams and customers
• Strong knowledge of technology platforms and environments. (AIX, Linux, Windows, Unix)
• Strong knowledge of business functions and issues.
• Strong custom reporting skills using SQL

Minimum Experience
• 2-4 years experience working in an enterprise corporate Global Batch Operations environment.
• Understanding of server types (e.g. file, application, database, web, AIX, Windows, Linux, Unix)
• Knowledge and experience with file transfer processing and the relationship with job processing
• Knowledge of SQL DB
• Any network experience a plus
