Senior UX Designer

Job Description:
  • 3+ years of experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role)
  • 1+ year experience conducting user research and translating user research into design directions
  • Knowledge of best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
  • Proven ability to execute on information architecture of complex transactional interfaces
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with a variety of design tools such as Omnigraffle, Sketch, Axure, Photoshop
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects at once while delivering the highest quality assets for large scale projects
  • Strong ability to build relationships across team and organizational levels to help encourage and promote a collaborative environment
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity and desire to organize it
  • Demonstrated ability to develop big ideas, and execute against them in a highly collaborative and iterative environment

APPENDIX A – SERVICES:
  1. Contractor will manage design and delivery schedules for UX design services
  2. Contractor will design and run user research services including user interviews, usability tests, and heuristic analysis.
  3. Contractor will provide Client with current-state and future-state user flow analysis on UX design.
  4. Contractor will gather design requirements from Client team members who are requesting UX services.
  5. Contractor will conduct design review sessions with Client stakeholders.
  6. Contractor will schedule and lead discussions with Client Development teams to determine UX design feasibility.

APPENDIX B – DELIVERABLES:
  1. Contractor will draft and maintain all user research plan documents.
  2. Contractor will create documents containing user research results.
  3. Contractor will create design delivery schedule documentation.
  4. Contractor will create user flow documentation for current and future state UX design.
  5. Contractor will create paper sketches for UX design ideas.
  6. Contractor will create low fidelity wireframes
  7. Contractor will create and maintain information architecture site maps and documentation.
