Job Descripton:
  • 3+ years of experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role)
  • 1+ year experience conducting user research and translating user research into design directions
  • Knowledge of best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
  • Proven ability to execute on information architecture of complex transactional interfaces
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with a variety of design tools such as Omnigraffle, Sketch, Axure, Photoshop
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects at once while delivering the highest quality assets for large scale projects
  • Strong ability to build relationships across team and organizational levels to help encourage and promote a collaborative environment
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity and desire to organize it
  • Demonstrated ability to develop big ideas, and execute against them in a highly collaborative and iterative environment

APPENDIX A – SERVICES:
  • Contractor will manage design and delivery schedules for UX design services
  • Contractor will design and run user research services including user interviews, usability tests, and heuristic analysis.
  • Contractor will provide Client with current-state and future-state user flow analysis on UX design.
  • Contractor will gather design requirements from Client team members who are requesting UX services.
  • Contractor will conduct design review sessions with Client stakeholders.
  • Contractor will schedule and lead discussions with Client Development teams to determine UX design feasibility.

APPENDIX B – DELIVERABLES:
  • Contractor will draft and maintain all user research plan documents.
  • Contractor will create documents containing user research results.
  • Contractor will create design delivery schedule documentation.
  • Contractor will create user flow documentation for current and future state UX design.
  • Contractor will create paper sketches for UX design ideas.
  • Contractor will create low fidelity wireframes
  • Contractor will create and maintain information architecture site maps and documentation.
