Applications Consultant 2 - Scrum Master - Mechanical Design

Experience:
• 5-10 yrs running scrum teams in a hardware development setting

Responsibilities:
• Identifies and removes impediments to the Development Team's progress
• Plan and monitor progress of sprint activities.
• Maintain visual management of team progress in TFS and other tool sets
• Ability to drive multiple teams
• Coach the team in and product owners in scrum.
• Ensure the sprint goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team
• Report out team progress to management at regular intervals
• Facilitate all Scrum events
• Work with the team and the broader organization to continuously improve productivity, process, and tools
• Champion a high-quality culture and ensure quality is monitored and plans are in place to improve when necessary

Technical Skills:
• Scrum Master Certified
• Proven success of scrum implementation in Hardware, proven track record
• Prior experience working with mechanical and electro-mechanical machines a plus, with varied methods of manufacturing
• Supports cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment

Soft Skills:
• Good Team Player
• Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
• Persistent, vocal, must show strong initiative
• Ownership of the sprint team goals


Qualification:
• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
• Scrum Master Certified
• Previous project mgmt. experience with Team Foundation Server a plus
