Job Description:
Must Have Skills: Project Management, Agile Certified and Retail Domain experience in the stores.
 
Desired Skills:
  • 4 years of retail domain experience focused on planning and allocation.
  • Highly developed verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and willingness to take risks.
  • Proven skill in training and the ability to positively influence people to gain support.
  • Analytical aptitude including and reporting of key performance indicators; proficient Excel skills a plus.
  • Organizational skills, self-motivated and focused on meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to engage with business resources to gauge current and future strategic needs and analyze the impact of future price, promotion, and markdown application capabilities.
Project Details:
As part of as-is process mapping, the customer wants to document the planning and allocation processes which will then help translate to business and technical requirements for their allocation system.
 
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
  • The customer is seeking a customer oriented, high-performing Business Analyst to join the Retail Technology team. This position requires knowledge of retail business processes and systems with a strong focus on Planning and Allocations, Replenishment, ideally in a beauty and cosmetics retail environment. This position will be a liaison between business partners, IT solution architecture and delivery teams responsible for application design/development/QA/rollout SDLC activities and ongoing business support. The Business Analyst will have responsibility for one or more domains within the Retail Planning & Allocation Management function.
  • Success in this role requires business engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and influence outcomes in a cross-functional matrix organization. Qualified candidates must possess the ability to translate abstract concepts into defined objectives, business requirements, business processes and functional specifications and an actionable product roadmap.
