Primary Responsibilities:
·         Participate in shaping solutions to fit business data objectives across application data domains in the capacity of a business analyst.
·         Consult with IT and business clients to understand and assess business process and goals.
·         Actively participate in optimizing and streamline business process and technology solutions to support the business process.
·         Identify gaps between current and future state business processes and prioritize opportunities to improve processes.
·         Lead and facilitate IT and business user meetings to gather business process information.
·         Document the flow of data and information through the system that supports the business process.
·         Develop Business Requirements and drive to approval by stakeholders and communicate to the technical team.
·         Identify, analyze and document system requirements (functional and non-functional).
·         Identify requirements and contribute to end user training materials and procedures when required.
·         Work with appropriate stakeholders to solve business and data problems as required.
Required Qualifications:
·         4-year degree (Business Administration, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
·         3+ years acting as a business analyst.
·         Experience with BPMN.
·         Expert in diagramming business process flows – from level 1 to level 4
·         Experience in the Health Care and/or insurance industry.
·         Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Visio.
·         Strong technical skills in analyzing functional business processes, process modeling, business modeling tools, developing system solutions and documentation standards.
·         Strong written and verbal collaboration skills are required.
·         Strong customer service skills and ability to follow through to resolve issues.
·         Ability to understand client expectations and recognize and resolve issues that may affect delivery.
·         Must be willing to work in the downtown Los Angeles California area on site full time.
Preferred Qualifications:
·         Ability to share knowledge and coach and train others.
·         Strong ability to prioritize and resolve issues within the broader project team.
·         Commitment to professional growth and desire to expand into new roles as required
