Job Description:
  • A degree in a computer-science or related subject (or relevant work experience)
  • A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL and CMDB
  • Proven proficiency in dealing with complex technical issues in an application environment and should be confident in dealing with technology users
  • Experience working with a rapid development methodology, in particular Agile/Scrum or DevOps software development.
  • Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control release management and deployment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to confidently present to external stakeholders.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, etc.
  • Experience in support ServiceNow platform operational support and performing system administrative tasks including security management, scheduling, error recovery, patching, upgrading, monitoring
  • Experience with MID server configurations, troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • A good understanding of supporting tools and technologies such as LDAP, SSO and Identity Management, Automated Testing tools
  • Experience on Web Services Integration (SOA, REST, and JSON) and Web communications protocols (knowledge of Angular and Bootstrap desired)
Experience in development on ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change and Service
