Our major Media & Entertainment client is seeking a seasoned Technology Program Director to lead a highly visible, enterprise-wide portfolio of digital transformation initiatives. Our client's company consists of a portfolio of businesses that create and deliver original content 52 weeks a year to a global audience. You'll be the Program Director for their Key Initiatives team, and will lead a high-profile program with dependencies on numerous, simultaneous projects.


. Software development, SaaS deployments, data migrations, as well as server and network deployments for systems with SOX, legal, and Cyber Security compliance implications
. Program Integration: Identify dependencies, combine appropriate efforts, unify approaches, and coordinate project management with vendor and internal project managers
. Scope: Oversee vendors, and coordinate with internal project managers, so that all required work is completed
. Schedule: Manage the program schedule and milestones
. Budget: Manage vendor invoice approval process
. Quality: Direct QC, QA, and UAT processes to avoid defects and assure fitness for purpose
. Vendor Management: Lead the processes to organize, manage, and lead vendor project teams
. Risk: Identify, analyze, mitigate program risks
. Communications, Stakeholders: Accurately and timely communicate the status of all program aspects above to stakeholders
. Standards and Best Practices: Adopt, propagate, and support improvement of Technology standards and practices
. KPIs and OKRs: Manage performance against Key Performance Indicators, as well as Objectives and Key Results

Required Expertise:

. 15+ years of professional experience within Information Technology, demonstrating substantial subject-matter expertise in the design, development and implementation of complex Applications platforms and global systems - at both tactical and strategic levels, adhering to industry accepted best practices and procedures.
. A minimum of 12 years' of experience in Program Management, preferably in the Media or Digital / Internet business – ideally involving the successful implementation of complex, enterprise platforms from concept through delivery and into production.
. Most recent 6 years experience in technology projects, preferably in a very LEAN / Agile environment
. Must have professional experience working in the Broadcast, Media, Entertainment or Digital Product space.
. PMP or PgMP certification(s) required
. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or related/relevant field of study
. ITIL, and Agile certification strongly preferred
. Solid understanding of media systems, especially video
. Working knowledge of IT operations, cyber security, and IT systems architecture
. Strong track record of effectively handling multiple technology projects concurrently
. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
. Energetic, strategic, insightful, and creative
